Dave Kliewer, Senior Mortgage Loan Officer Bio: Dave is the epitome of integrity, intelligence, hard work, and creativity in every facet of a real estate transaction. He empathizes with his clients, always looking for ways to put himself in their shoes to help them succeed and have a smooth transaction during what could be a very stressful time in their lives. Over the past fifteen years, he has been a Realtor, branch manager, loan officer, chairman of the board for a first-time home buyer non-profit grant organization, presenter, and teacher to other loan officers. Always looking to serve the community, he is a member of a Charleston SC-based non-profit helping obese children. He has bought and sold residential property, raw land, and is experienced in purchasing foreclosed properties. Dave grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and went to school in northern Indiana. After graduating with a multi-discipline BA in Business, Music, Art, and Multimedia, he became a sales agent for an RV manufacturer. He served his clients by helping them sell their product, maintain client relationships, manage their financing, and keep accurate accounting on their orders at various plants. An adept international traveler, serving clients all over the United States and Canada came easy to Dave. Feeling a need to live on the coast, Dave decided to move to Charleston SC in 2002. He took a job in retail sales for a modular home manufacturer. Unhappy with the product and overall industry, Dave quickly took what he liked about the RV and mobile home industries and decided to become a loan officer. The die was cast. Finance was a great fit for him and Dave decided to continue in the mortgage industry. Within a few months, Dave became the top loan officer at a company of seventy-five loan officers. After working for companies that had to close their doors, he realized the mistakes that others had made and started his own branch. Efficiency and product knowledge in an ever-changing mortgage industry has always been his strong points, but what really sets Dave apart is his willingness to communicate and follow up especially when there are unique and challenging issues with a file. Whether he’s working with a client purchasing a $65,000 home or a $7 million property, Dave gives everyone the same top-notch service they deserve.
